We're hosting a cookie & ornament decorating party complete with games, singing & dancing, dressing up and glittery up-dos!! We'll make reindeer food guaranteed to attract Santa's steed and write letters to the man in red himself! Sugar cookies & pink lemonade will be served. Girls ages 3 - 10 welcome.

Our team of Creatologists are excited to lead you on the creative journey from raw lumber to a hand-crafted, stunning piece of wood home decor {Happy Hour Sign 10.5″ x 16″}.
Complimentary adult beverages will be served to our holiday makers! This workshop will end before the tree lighting festivities begin. 🙂

You can either buy a pie from our pop up baker, or you can buy the supplies from us - either way, we are going to make sure that you have the best Thanksgiving evahhhhhh, right down to the right way to make a Turkey gravy and stuffing balls.
Coryanne will be passing out recipe cards, Brooke will be offering pie tips... and all the while you will be sipping something to erase all the stress.

Mayors Community Christmas Concert

This year we are partnering with the Maylee Thomas Band to present the Mayor's Community Christmas Concert. This years concert will feature traditional carols as well as upbeat Christmas Songs to help put you in the holiday spirit as we jump into the Christmas Season. The concert is free and open to the community. There will be a love offering taken that will go to support local charities; Emmanuel Labor, Streetside Showers & Hunger Coalition. The annual Christmas Spectacular presented by Albertsons and Tom Thumb returns to The Star! Christmas Tree Lighting at Preston Trail

Join us for the tree lighting on the lawn, cookies & hot chocolate, photos with Santa (6-7 p.m.), and ornament making. This is a great family and friends event -- invite your neighbors!
As part of this event, we're partnering with Frisco Family Services to give more families in our community the chance to make a special memory together this holiday season.
How can you help? Simply bring three ingredients to the tree lighting on December 1:
- Flour - Sugar - Cooking Oil
Your donations will allow Frisco Family Services to give families an opportunity to spend quality time together, baking cookies and making a Christmas memory.
Tree Lighting Ceremony at FFM

Join us for the beginning of the HOLIDAYS at the FFM Tree lighting Ceremony! November 9th at FFM from 6-8 pm. Tree lighting ceremony will begin at approximately 6:30 pm.
We will be lighting up both market sheds along with the HOLIDAY TREE to get everyone into the holiday spirit! Santa Claus will be making an early appearance for photos and Mayor Cheney will be lighting the Holiday tree!
Vitruvian Lights

The most dazzling time of the year is here! Vitruvian Park transforms into a magical holiday wonderland during Vitruvian Lights; Friday, November 29, 2019 – Wednesday, January 1, 2020. Beginning November 30, tree lights will be on daily from 5:00pm – 11:00pm.
**Inclement weather can impact functionality of tree lights.**
It is free to drive or walk through the park.
PARKING – FREE
Parking available onsite at Vitruvian Park; Bella Lane Parking Lot, Park Road Parking Lot, and Ponte Avenue Parking Lot.
World Premiere: The Christmas Village
Everyday 9am-5pm and select nights 6-9pm until December 31.
Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden
During the day, children can explore and discover at their own pace. At night, the Christmas Village is illuminated with the glow of holiday lights, which are in addition to over ONE million lights throughout the garden. This is the perfect venue for people of all ages to get into the Holiday spirit.
Weekends and evenings include volunteers dressed as the shopkeeper in each store, many of whom will pass out a sample of their wares, such as a piece of candy at the candy shop. Secure your tickets today as this exhibit runs for only 37 Days and even fewer nights! Everyday 9am-5pm and select nights 6-9pm until December 31. Get Tickets!
